One of the worst things about working out, is the massive amount of sweat one can produce. As if it is not already embarrassing to be a complete waterworks on the elliptical, having sweaty pits, or even dare I say stinky pits is pretty darn gross. Sadly, I have been there and done that. That is why I will not leave the house without my 10 Gym Bag Must-Haves for Women.
And it is totally no fun…especially when there are cute guys at the gym. Nobody has time to look like a piece of sweaty bacon on a machine with visible arm pit wetness.
Can I get an AMEN?
Thankfully, companies like Degree are busy constantly creating products that can keep us women dry, and stink-free! Their latest product, Degree MotionSense Dry Spray is a convenient and great smelling spray that keeps me dry and fresh-smelling. My pits are happy, I am happy, and the people on the side of me working out are probably happy.
When I feel fresh, and dry it really encourages me to want to MOVE. Whether it be lifting weights, biking, doing the elliptical, or taking a cardio dance class. Having the confidence products like Degree MotionSense Dry Spray can provide is empowering for those like myself who have sweat anxiety.
Speaking of moving, Walmart has teamed up with Becky G to get YOU up and MOVING! You do not need a gym to get your heart pumping and muscles heated up. You can actually get fit right in the comfort of your own home!
Join Becky G as she teaches her dance moves to “Move It,” “Look Away” and the “1-2 Step”. I have tried all three of her dances and my son even approves! the best part? Every time my arms raised, a pleasant, fresh scent wafted around and I was quite frankly not sweating like a pig.
Get up off the couch now, and check out Becky G’s dance moves TODAY!
After you get your heart pumping, and build your confidence you might even be ready to hit the gym. Whether you are a veteran gym enthusiast or a newbie I wanted to share 10 Gym Bag Must-Haves for Women.I have changed up the stock in my gym bags many times to revolve around the stuff I actually use.
Here are my Top 10 Gym Bag Must-Haves *DO NOT Leave home without them
Deodorant: Let’s face it, this may be the single most important gym bag MUST! You never know when you’ll need to reapply or in Degree MotionSense Dry Spray’s case, “re-spray” your pits. Even the best deodorants can get weak if your level of intensity in through the roof.
Sweat Towel: With the warmer weather comes humidity. I do not know about your gym, but mine does not have the best heating or cooling system. I find myself dripping sweat around my forehead when working out, so a cute sweat towel I can easily wash is a must.
Elastics: Having a few extra elastics in your gym bag can be a huge life saver! You never know when you’ll need to pull back your hair, or fix it after a workout. Be prepared with a few extras and you will not have to resort to looking like a fluff head!
Lip Balm: Is it just me or does hitting the cardio section dry out your lips too? Not sure if I am super bored and biting down on my lips or what, but without lip moisturizer I feel gross!
Body Spray: After working out, I do not always head home right away. A spritz of body spray is part of my one, two check after working out.
Ipad/Tablet/Entertainment: Unless you want to literally stare at other people working out, or the ceiling do yourself a favor and have some sort of electronic entertainment and head phones. This will take your mind off the intensity and time left on your machines.
Drinks: I am the worst at drinking and working out. I literally hate to drink in between sets, or strides, but I pay for it. I go to the gym at night so when I get home I am like a fish out of water. I will drink a gallon of water, and stay up all night using the bathroom. I should probably just actively stay hydrated to prevent this!
Lifting Gloves or Powder: If you are a boss girl and love to lift weights like me, you will need at least one of these two life-savers. I prefer lifting gloves with grip just because I do not like the way callouses feel. I do have some friends who prefer powder though so whatever floats your boat.
Change of Clothes: Because you never know when your pants could split. No, seriously, at least keep an extra pair of pants in your bag..been there, done that.
