Blaze and the Monster Machines are Now Available at Toys R Us!
Back when my first child was a baby, her favorite Nick Jr. show was Dora the Explorer which taught her educational values and even a little Spanish here and there. Then when my second child came around she loved Bubble Guppies which she watched 24/7. My little guy’s favorite show was Paw Patrol, but now Blaze and the Monster Machines seems to be #1.
Since I lived in the land of little princesses for 5 years, I wasn’t really familiar with what types of shows little boys would be into. Would he enjoy the same shows as his sisters watched? The answer to that question is no, he is not into princesses, and fairies do not amuse him.
I guess you could say my son is a typical little boy and loves trucks, cars, and action shows like Paw Patrol and Blaze and the Monster Machines. Sadly, he thinks he can watch them 24/7 and cries when they are not on. Thankfully, we recently received a copy of Blaze and the Monster Machines High-Speed Adventure on DVD because I needed it to save my sanity, plus all three of my kids actually enjoy it.
As a parent I really can appreciate the educational benefits there are to watching this Nick Jr. show. Both my kids and I love that Blaze and the Monster Machines is both interactive, and educational. All three of my kids love to play along with Blaze and participate in his adventures.
Right now they are hunting for giant cheese balls and yelling “squish it” to help Blaze on his journey.
My son now knows what axles, and rolling drums are thanks to Blaze too! He was building with his blocks the other day, and pretended he had axles on there. That was super impressive and made me smile inside and out!
And then he found out that Toys R Us now has Blaze and the Monster Machines toys and gear! He is so excited and I told him if he is a good boy I will buy him one.
The only problem is, they are all so cute, and are actually very reasonably priced.
Let’s just say mommy might have to buy most of the collection “just because”. These will be a great addition to my son’s cars and trucks stash!
Will you be heading to Toys R Us to check Nickelodeon’s Blaze toys?

These are so adorable! I have a 5 year old little boy that would love playing with these. He has such a big imagination, so this line is perfect for him.

I have not heard of this show before!! Nick Jr makes such cute shows for kids, I love that the shows always teach them as well.

We haven’t seen this yet but I keep hearing so many great things about it. I love that it uses STEM in each episode to teach them. Such great idea.
