This past Sunday, we ventured North to the Boston area to visit the Stone Zoo in Stoneham, Massachusetts. We live about an hour south of area so it is always fun to head to the capital of our state. This past weekend was an extra spooky time at the Stone Zoo because they had their annual Boo at the Zoo fest.
When we arrived, there were literally hundreds of children parading around in some fun and interesting costumes. Not wanting to spoil this year’s fun, our kids wore last year’s costumes. I cannot even count how many fellow Paw Patrol friends and princesses we spotted. The kids LOVED the Trick or Treat Trail and the sport of trying some goodies out from the participating sponsors.
This year’s event was sponsored by the MEFA U Fund College Investment Plan, which offers flexible investment options and guidance as you start saving for your child’s college education. We visited their large tent which was set up near the DJ and had fun playing some sheep games, taking a silly picture, and of course learning more about how their college education investment plans worked.
The MEFA UFund Massachusetts 529 plan managed by Fidelity Investments is a smart choice and simple way to save for your child’s college future. For more than 30 years, the MEFA has been helping families to save for college expenses ahead of time through 529 plans. Their experts work with families like mine to easily save for their child’s future education expenses.
With an investment of as little as $15 month, your child’s plan could easily grow to become enough to pay for some of your child’s college expenses. Of course, this varies depending on a number of factors and plan contributions vary.
You can learn more about the MEFA U Fund College Investment Plans which include investment objectives, risks, charges, and expenses by visiting their official site which has a knowledge of information to see which plans are right for your family.
While at the Stone Zoo our kids saw a lot of fun animals like a llama, Pink Flamingos, a cougar, tarantulas, spider monkies and more! There were so many animals to see in such a beautifully designed landscaped setting. I really would love to go back on a regular day to really be able to take in all the sites.
Overall, our kids loved it and I enjoyed learning more about how I can save for my three kid’s college educations thanks to MEFA U Fund College Investment Plans.
