2017 Boston Auto Show Recap
Thank you She Buys Cars and #ToyotaBoston for this amazing event!
Last Thursday, my husband and I attended the media day for the 2017 Boston Auto Show. It was held at the Boston Convention Center and is the largest auto show in New England. With over 30 car brands displayed, there were over tons of brand spanking new cars on display from the countries top manufacturers.
After checking in and getting our media passes, Jared and I headed to the Toyota area which was the very first section that greeted visitors. On the first display sat the all new 2018 Toyota C-HR. This beauty is a compact crossover SUV. I just love the color and super stylish boxy design.
Another favorite we loved from Toyota was the 2017 Toyota Prius Prime. The color, body style, size, and overall design is fascinating. I also love that this vehicle is a plug-in hybrid like the Ford Fusion Energi Platinum we recently had the opportunity to drive for 5 months. The interface inside this car was also similar to the Ford and made me wish I owned a hybrid vehicle.
The Lexus LX 570 was a luxurious SUV that I could only dream of owning. The inside was so beautiful to see and loaded with all the extras you could imagine. It is powered by a v8 5.7 liter engine and retails for about $90,000.
We enjoyed a delicious lunch at Sauciety Boston which consisted of many gourmet dishes and bites. The lobster roll and various other foods were so tasty and delicious.
After lunch, we also got to hear from featured guest Amanda Graponne Osmer who is the CEO of Graponne Automotive Group. She is a 4th generation steward, and her automotive businesses are located in the greater New Hampshire area. It was so interesting to hear about her family’s story and unique, and honest business model.
Her automotive group features a fixed pricing structure that is no hassle and no pressure. After learning about her model, my husband and I decided it would be worth the trek to purchase a new vehicle from her group.
