When it comes to entertaining, are you a sweet or savory type of person? For me, I would have to say savory all the way! There is just something so delectable about a salty, crunchy snack that I find hard to resist! I would give up cake for life but could never dare give up cheese or crunchy snacks like crackers. That is why these Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Bites are my new favorite cracker appetizer.
I love using Ritz Crackers as an appetizer base because they are just so versatile! They go great with dips, spreads, sauces, and meats like chicken and bacon. If you have a sweet tooth, they are actually delicious dipped in chocolate too! I was so inspired by the Kraft Holiday Recipes Hub on Walmart.com that I kinda want to make everything!
Since things like chicken and bacon are staples in my home, I wanted to make the super quick Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Bites Cracker Appetizer. I marinaded chicken breast in GREY POUPON Savory Honey Mustard, and LEA & PERRINS Worcestershire Sauce. I then pre-cooked them, sliced them into little chunks, and then added some crispy bacon to each cracker. With the original recipe you can broil the meats, but I love short cuts and take them whenever possible!
To add that perfect amount of sweet and savory pizzazz to these cracker appetizers, I added some sliced CRACKER BARREL Vermont Sharp-White Cheddar Cheese to each. For the grand finale, and small dollop of GREY POUPON did the trick with a dusting of parsley.
The finale product? Pure deliciousness!
- 3 tablespoons of GREY POUPON Savory Honey Mustard, divided
- 2 tablespoons of LEA & PERRINS Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 large boneless skinless chicken breast (6 oz.), cut into 24 pieces
- 8 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cut into thirds
- 4oz. CRACKER BARREL Vermont Sharp-White Cheddar Cheese, cut into 12 slices
- 24 RITZ Crackers
- 2 tsp. chopped fresh parsley

Mix 1 tablespoons of mustard and Worcestershire sauce. Add to chicken in shallow glass dish; toss to coat. Refrigerate 30 min. to marinate. Remove chicken from marinade; discard marinade.
HEAT broiler. Wrap bacon around chicken; secure with toothpicks. Broil, 4 inches from heat, 10 min. or until bacon is crisp and chicken is done, turning after 5 min.
HEAT oven to 350°F. Remove toothpicks. Cut cheese slices in half. Place crackers on baking sheet; top with cheese. Bake 4 to 5 min. or until melted. Top with chicken and remaining ingredients.
