Blackberry, Mint & Yogurt Topped Crackers
Thank you Breton for sponsoring this post. Make everyday entertaining better with Breton!
It might be August already but it doesn’t mean summer is over quite yet. I know most people might be yearning for cooler days, and pumpkin everything, but I want to take it slow. We will be officially moving next week so I want to be able to settle down and actually enjoy the rest of the summer soon. Between all the chaos I have not had much time to soak in the sunshine.
Once we get our home set up, I would love to host a small housewarming party with light appetizers and snacks. Sweet and savory parings like these Blackberry, Mint & Yogurt Topped Crackers will be perfect to complement some refreshments. Featuring Breton Artisanal Cranberry and Ancient Grains Crackers, these yogurt topped appetizers or snacks are amazing!
I really find Breton Artisanal Cranberry and Ancient Grains Crackers to be appealing because they are great tasting and are made with wholesome, real ingredients.
These crispy, savory crackers are the perfect balance of sweet and salty. I love the texture and the fact that they can be topped, dipped, crushed (for crusts) or eaten alone.
To satiate my sweet tooth and experiment with flavors, I decided to try some sweet vanilla bean Greek yogurt.
I LOVE Greek yogurt so I knew I wanted to incorporate it in my recipe whether it was flavored or plain.
Since yogurt and fresh fruit pair so well, I thought some ripe blackberries would make for a tasty, slightly tart addition.
Right now, the spearmint in my garden is out of control so I added a fresh sprig to each cracker.
The flavors all melded perfectly and made for a very light and refreshing taste. I think my housewarming guests will be sure to enjoy these “taste of summer” little bites.
How I made these Blackberry, Mint & Yogurt Topped Crackers
- Vanilla Bean Greek Yogurt
- Breton Artisanal Cranberry and Ancient Grains Crackers
- Fresh Spearmint Leaves
- Black Raspberries
Directions:
Top each cracker with a dollop of Greek yogurt
Add one washed blackberry to each
Complete with a small spring of mint
Serve with tea or refreshing lemon water
Enjoy!

That is an awesome snack idea. We are having some people over this weekend and these are perfect to serve.
Those sound so good. I love the health aspect of this couple with the yummy flavors. Om nom nom.
This sounds like an awesome snack. I wish I had the stuff to make them right now.
Mint and yogurt are such a classic combo. I never thought about adding blackberry to that combo.
YUM! Looks like a delicious snack idea, my kids would even love this!!
I am a huge cracker person. But, I don’t necessarily like cheese and crackers. This blackberry, mint and yogurt is right up my alley! Yummy!
The ingredients are so simple, yet this is a classy recipe for any party. I think it would be a perfect addition to the baby shower I am attending later this month and will be forwarding the recipe to the host.
Aww, what an awesome finger food to have at a party. I bet that berry flavor works so well with the yogurt!
I haven’t tried Breton Artisanal Cranberry and Ancient Grains Crackers yet but they do look good! I love the way you plated these blackberry mint yogurt topped crackers! The photos are perfectly done! Made me want to download the recipe and make some of these treats stat.
I never thought to top crackers with yogurt, but this is a great idea. Blackberries are super yummy and this looks like a stylish appetizer for a little family gathering. I will make note of this so I can make them up for a snack before meal when family visits this summer!
That sounds like a great flavor combo, a bit of sweet, the mint mingling, crunchy cracker and the yogurt.
I love berries and yogurt, they’re an awesome combination! This sounds so lovely and the mint is a nice touch, it’s going to add a lovely flavor to the mix.
I’ve always liked sweet and salty together so this is something that I’ll enjoy! I love that it’s easy to put together as well!
These look super yummy! I would eat these all the time!
Pretty sure I’d like these crackers on their own. They look delightful all made up like this though!
Summer had us all running around like mad. Now that school is back in session, I’ll have more time to spend with my friends. These will make a perfect offering.
This summer I worked a bit on my herb garden and have some fresh mint growing. These crackers will be a delightful use of my mint.
That is an interesting combination. I definitely am intrigued. :)
I have not tried the Breton Artisanal Cranberry and Ancient Grains Crackers yet but I will get some at the store if I see some. I love how you made such a delicious treat with those crackers, yogurt, blackberries and mint. My daughter would flip over these.
