Don’t you just love Gorton’s Seafood? I mean they are always consistently providing consumers with some of the best frozen seafood products, and they are super generous! I do not have one negative thing to say about this company because they have been a meal time staple since I was a child!
It all started with their crunchy fish sticks..back then they would put little coupons right in the boxes. I used to get so excited to see if there was a fisherman paper in the box…it was like my little treasure!!
Fast forward 20 some odd years later, and my kids are now watching me make fish stick dinners. As a New Englander, I have to say that Gorton’s Seafood is “Wicked Good”. Seriously, they even make gluten free favorites that my little girl can enjoy..how cool is that?
As an official Gorton’s Blogger, I recently had the opportunity to participate in their Wicked Good Seafood promotion. My goal was to make a recipe that used some of Gorton’s original favorites. Crunchy Fish Sticks, Fish Sandwich Fillets, Beer Battered Fish- pretty much all the Gorton’s Favorites I enjoyed as a kid!
Since I love to cook and create, I slept on which recipe I’d make, and which Gorton’s product I’d use. I’ve already made a ton of dishes using Gorton’s Seafood, and really wanted something different, and out of the box.
After some thought, I decided to make Crispy Buffalo Fish Salad. I didn’t follow a specific recipe, but sort of winged it. Sometimes “winged” meals flop, and sometimes they should win awards..this meal was such a hit that I must make it monthly now!
