DIY: Starbucks Iced Caramel Snickers Frappuccino
If there is something I cannot get enough of, it happens to be coffee based drinks. The creamier and icier they are, the better! I happen to spend quite a bit of money of these beverages because they make me smile, and keep me going. When I visited my local market and found a new Starbucks product, I was excited to try it out. Introducing the Starbucks Iced Coffee-Brewed to Personalize at home.
If you love Starbucks coffee but are not lucky to have a location nearby, I totally recommend you try out this product. Available in the following flavors, these drinks are simply amazing for people like myself that cannot always get to my local shop:
- Starbucks® Lightly Sweetened for flavor Iced Coffee Beverage
- Starbucks® Unsweetened Iced Coffee Beverage
- Starbucks® Caramel Iced Coffee Beverage
Starbucks Iced Coffee-Brewed to Personalize at home retails for around $4.99 and really is delicious! It is essentially black coffee with a hint of sweetness depending on what you buy. I am loving the Caramel Iced Coffee Beverage because I was able to make a delicious DIY: Starbucks Iced Caramel Snickers Frappuccino complete with fresh whipped cream, snickers, caramel, cream, and the main star–the Caramel Iced Coffee Beverage.
Oh my gosh….
Yes, my little spur of the moment creation is so good, dangerously good! I guess having 30 some odd bars of Snickers laying around is dangerous in itself, but when you factor in real whipped cream, ooeey goeey caramel, and the beverage base things get scarily good. I many have gotten myself hooked on my homemade frappuccinos. I suppose this means I’ll have to walk an extra few miles to make up the difference!
Want to know how to make your own DIY: Starbucks Iced Caramel Snickers Frappuccino? Here is what you will need:
- 1 Snickers Bar or two fun size bars
- 1/2 cup heavy cream + 2 tablespoons
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- 1 cup Starbucks Caramel Iced Coffee Beverage
- 1/2 cup ice
Chop your Snickers Bars into little chunks.
In a stand mixer, mix your vanilla, powdered sugar and cream until soft peaks form
In a blender, combine your ice, and Starbucks Caramel Iced Coffee Beverage; and 2 tablespoons of cream-blended until icy and smooth
Squirt the bottom of your cup with caramel sauce. Pour the icy mixture into your cup. Top with a generous dollop of whopped cream, Snickers, and then drizzle with caramel sauce.
You could also put finely ground up bars into the frappucino, but I dint have a wide enough straw to suck those yummy bits up.
So, what are you waiting for? Give my Starbucks Iced Caramel Snickers Frappuccino a try, and let me know just how good it was!
