Easy Jamaican Jerk Chicken Recipe
I cannot believe that is took me 28 years to finally experience the tantalizing taste of Jamaican Jerk Chicken! I recently had the wonderful opportunity to review some freshly made jerk seasoning from Savory Spice Shop, and boy was it amazing! They generously sent me a large glass bottle chock filled with a blend of freshly ground jerk seasoning. When I say fresh, I really mean fresh too! There were no stale tastes, or old looking herbs in the blend; just aromatic, flavorful goodness!
Since I was making my Jamaican Jerk Chicken for my family I toned down the overall spiciness of the dish. I marinated my chicken for 8 hours in a plastic zipper bag so that it could absorb all the yummy goodness jerk seasoning has to offer. We decided to grill the dish on our charcoal grill for intensified flavor…boy was it delish!
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast
2 tablespoons Savory Spice Shop’s Jamaican Jerk Seasoning
3 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
3 garlic cloves
Place your chicken in a zippered bag along with your oil, spice, vinegar, and garlic cloves. Marinate for 8 hours+-the longer it is marinated the more flavorful it will be.
Cook on a hot grill until clear juices run from the chicken. Serve with your choice of sides. I made twice baked mashed potatoes with our’s..a bit random, but equally delicious!
**I hope you enjoy this easy Jamaican Jerk Chicken Recipe because it is super delicious, and easy because Savory Spice Shop sells the jerk seasoning which is made fresh weekly. It is really cheap too! See our review for more info!
