Why You Need To Visit Edaville USA Christmas Festival of Lights
Thank you Edaville USA for providing tickets for our family to experience the festivities.
Are you thinking about taking a trip to Edaville USA?
Maybe you are wondering if the cost of admission is worth the experience.
Well, Great news! You have landed on the perfect post that is all about the Edaville USA Christmas Festival Of Lights experience.
So what is the Edaville USA Christmas Festival of Lights in Carver MA like?
Let’s just say it is the land of all things Christmas cheer.
Just walking through the gates of this Massachusetts theme park brought so many childhood nostalgic memories to mind. The large Edaville archway was nestled right over the iconic train tracks where Edaville USA began.
Did you know that Edaville USA was once known as Edaville Railroad?
Today, it is home to attractions like Thomas Land, Dino Land (closed for the season), and Cran Central?
As we entered the park, the smell of fried dough and the faint hum of Christmas carols were floating to through the air. New to 2017, Dickens Village is now fully open. Stroll through the nostalgic village of Charles Dickens-themed store fronts. To create this spectacular village they even had an artist from England brought in to hand paint the buildings. We were able to watch it be built from the ground up, and are so happy it is finally open.
After Dickens Village, we took the obligatory family pics in front of the pond at Edaville USA. The iconic Edaville USA Christmas lights in the background.
As we continued our stroll, the kids ran to the gigantic waving Santa near the Ferris wheel.
Edaville USA has classic rides like a carousel, Ferris wheel, and more. These rides are for not only young children but adults alike.
If you have little ones, Edaville has over 60 rides and attractions. They use a color-coded height stick to check children’s heights for each ride.
Many allow even tiny tots a ride with an adult. There was only 1 exception where my 5-year-old son could not ride.
Of course, the best part of Edaville USA Christmas Festival of Lights was the Christmas Train ride where you ride through the park property and get to see a myriad of beautifully lit displays. They even have Santa experiences which sell out fast!
I love how this park is so family friendly! They have quiet spaces for kids to unwind, several indoor attractions for kids to enjoy, and Edaville even has one of the best breastfeeding spaces around. This park was built for young families but is pleasant enough where any age can walk around and enjoy the experience.
Several food stops are located around the park and they have classic favorites like fudge, popcorn, hot cocoa, and cotton candy.
We also found their gift shops to be really reasonably priced so that we could take a little piece of the park home with us.
Overall, we have such an amazing time at Edaville USA Christmas Festival of Lights. We will be back next year (God willing) to enjoy the festivities!
Remember to DRESS WARM & bring your Christmas Spirit before you visit Edaville USA!

We try to plan something fun each day in December. It is often something small like baking cookies, but this festival sounds like a wonderful holiday tradition.
