When it comes to tailoring your kitchen or bath, one of the first decisions you would probably make would be to choose your faucets. Now, if you are like me, functionality is everything. I don’t want something too simple, but the faucets I choose have to at least fit our home’s style.
Exactly one year ago today, we purchased a newly constructed home. It was one of the biggest decisions of our life, but probably one of the best.
We missed the option to customize our home, and when we had our first showing we immediately noticed it was one very large blank canvas of white and light wood. That worked out perfectly because we knew we would eventually be able to cosmetically update it to our liking.
One of our next DIY projects is adding a backsplash to our very white and stainless steel kitchen. We want something that will fit into our farmhouse style. A new kitchen faucet that matches our appliances is also on our list. We prefer washing dishes by hand so it has to be a pull-out model that is not too plain like the one we have now. It needs to have a high arc so that we can easily wash the dog in the sink, or fill large pots with water.
The Draper is actually the ideal kitchen faucet for us. It features a vintage look with all the modern bells and whistles. I love how is features a drip-free ceramic disc valve to prevent annoying drips. I don’t know about you, but when a faucet is dripping in my home, it is all I can hear. I also love the water efficiency flow and the SnapBack® Retraction System which is perfect for those times when you need to hustle in the kitchen.
Isn’t this a charming kitchen faucet?
Now for our bathrooms, we also have the same issue with having lackluster, cheap faucets installed. We wanted to eventually upgrade them to match our style and needs.
We also have a rustic charm to our bathrooms and would love to install something other than brushed nickel or stainless steel. I love the Satin Black color the VAUGHN collection from Danze is available in. It has all the appeal we are looking for as well as functionality. You can view this item on the Danze site.
