My Daughters Favorite Fresh Lunch Box Snack for School

School starts in one week and today I just finished touring my daughter’s middle school.
Where has the time gone off to? I didn’t even have much time to explore beaches, museums, or go on vacation this year.
But, I did have plenty of time to enjoy my home and kids this summer.
My 11 1/2 year-old is so eager about lockers, schedules, and lunches. In fact, I even had to buy her 2 lunch boxes because she thought the first lunchbox was “too big” and reminded her of a luggage…excuse me!
I have already been warned not to give her certain snacks that might make her seem like a baby.
Yikes! Since when did entering middle school turn into this much work?
One thing she did request is salads, veggies, and Sabra Hummus Singles. She has been really enjoying hummus for the past 2 years and is particularly fond of the Roasted Red Pepper variety. I think it is pretty neat that she loves hummus, unlike her picky little brother!
I love the Sabra Singles because it means one less thing to fuss with and have to wash when my daughter gets home. Each perfectly packable cup starts with fresh chickpeas (aka garbanzo beans), tahini and a touch of garlic which is blended with spice into a creamy consistency.
Fresh celery sticks and carrot chips make a nutritious snack to complement her lunch pack!
Want to add some Sabra Hummus to your child’s back to school routine? Perhaps for an afternoon snack? You can find Sabra Hummus at Walmart.
