My Favorite Place for Back to School Musts! #BJsBTS

Summer is unofficially over, and the back to school season has finally come racing around the bend. Just when I felt like the summer would never end, playing outdoors, and having fun all day will be soon be replaced with studying, homework, and early bed times.
Even though my kids do a great job at driving me crazy, I will miss them while they are at school. I know my girls are in great hands at their small school, but it will be a tough adjustment the first week! At least they have new backpacks, school supplies, and even lunch boxes thanks to the folks at BJ’s Wholesale. Before attending a live event at our local club store, we made a weekend trip to buy some stainless steel thermoses, snacks, and drinks for their school lunches. We also stocked up on pencils, and notebooks which they go-through super fast!
I love BJ’s Wholesale so much because I can literally get my kids covered on all bases between back to school essentials like socks, underwear, clothing, school supplies, and even food! I find the best deals at BJ’s and have been a loyal customer for the last 10 years. It was super fun to attend a recent Back to School event which featured Chef Glenn Lyman who works as a private chef to some of sports biggest names.
GCooks taught our children how to make some healthy snacks. and lunch box ideas for the back to school season. Using wholesome, and fresh ingredients he utilized fresh produce, and lean proteins like meats and cheeses to make kid-friendly pairings. The kids had a blast constructing healthy finger foods using products that can be purchased at BJ’s.
After having fun learning about healthier food choices, we had the opportunity to participate in a school supply cart race that would provide school supplies for families in need through the East Bay Community Action Program. This Rhode-Island based program, helps families who have fallen on hard times receive medical care, food, and even school supplies. I love when companies give back to the local community and BJ’s did just that by donating 2 cart fulls of supplies for local kids.
After the race which we actually won, the kids got to pick out some really cute lunchboxes for being good sports. I absolutely LOVE the quality of the National Geographic lunch boxes and canteens two of my kids chose. They are of amazing quality and are sure to last the whole school years, and raise awareness for endangered species.
If you are looking for organic back to school snacks, better for you lunchbox meals, and school supplies, I totally suggest heading to BJ’s Wholesale Club. Membership is currently $50 for the year, plus you can also get an additional card for another in-home family member. Most importantly, you can watch your savings grow by stacking BJ’s in-store coupons with manufacturers coupons.
