The holiday season is right around the corner and that means many of you are going to be looking for gift ideas and recipes like these No-Bake Peppermint Brownie Pops to serve or gift your guests. These brownie pops were made with Dancing Deer Baking Company’s Chocolate Chunk Brownies and are easy to replicate.
Have you heard of Dancing Deer Baking Company? They are Boston-Based bakery producing from-scratch baked goods. Their assortment includes several varieties of cookies, and brownies that can be purchased in an abundance of different flavors which can be purchased in gift towers, and gift baskets, as well as in store at your local grocery or specialty food store. Dancing Deer also specializes in customized “foodie” business gifting options which my husband’s company will be utilizing this year.
I personally like to think of them as my top option for fresh-baked good for gifting our enjoyment. While their baked goods make perfect holiday gifting options alone, their sweets can easily be turned into semi-homemade treats in a pinch. These No-Bake Peppermint Brownie Pops are a perfect example of how you can take their already awesome brownies and add some small touches and steps to turn them into party favors, gifts or simply seasonal treats.
Want to make these No-Bake Peppermint Brownie Pops? Below is what you will need:
*makes 8 per 4 pack of Dancing Deer Chocolate Chunk Brownies.
4 Dancing Deer Chocolate Chunk Brownies crumbled by hand to a small chunky mixture *try not to eat them all
2 tablespoons of chocolate frosting
1/4 cup of crushed peppermint candy chunks
1/2 cup of melted chocolate frosting for dipping brownie balls into
Wax paper-lined baking sheet
8 cake pop sticks
In large bowl, hand crumble your Dancing Deer Chocolate Chunk Brownies
Add the 2 tablespoons of frosting to the mixing bowl, and form mixture into 8 even size balls
Place the balls into the freezer for at least 30 mins.
Once firm, remove them from the freezer, insert and cake pop stick, and dip them into the melted chocolate
Place them carefully on your baking sheet
Sprinkle with peppermint, and place them in the fridge to harden for another 30 minutes
You can wrap these in cellophane, but I recommend using actual melting chocolate if you want to gift them to cover them up. The melted frosting is more for parties. By using melting chocolate, they will harden up better, and not get the cellophane dirty.
I hope you enjoy these No-Bake Peppermint Brownie Pops which could really come in handy this holiday season. Of course, you can easily adjust the recipe to how many brownies you have on hand. By purchasing Dancing Deer Company Chocolate Chunk Brownies, you get a preservative-free, fresh-baked taste without the extra hassle of making them yourself, hence the no-bake aspect.
