Oven Baked Buffalo Chicken Strips Recipe & How to Save with Shaw’s MyMixx
This week was yet another great week for groceries savings at Shaw’s Supermarket! I was able to fill my carriage to the brim with groceries, and spent a little over $100! This week’s purchases were mainly vegetables, fruit, and meat which is what we typically use the most of. I was able to create a shopping list with MyMixx, and use a few Clipless Coupons for even more savings! I was also loving the Shaw’s “Buy 6 for $1.88 deal” which allowed me to stock up on Essential Everyday® Cheeses.
Speaking of Essential Everyday® items, have you tried this brand? It is an additional way to save money when shopping at Shaw’s and many other Albertson’s supermarkets across the country. The line features affordable alternatives to the national brand without the sacrifice of quality.
By purchasing items like cheeses, salad dressings, croutons, and even dairy creamer from the Essential Everyday® line; I have saved so much money in addition to MyMixx. This week’s “inspired recipe” comes from the Essential Everyday Recipe Collection, which can be found in the MyMixx Recipe tab.
The original recipe was for Baked Ranch Chicken. I intended on making this exact recipe, but accidentally picked up a bottle of Bleu Cheese Essential Everyday® Dressing rather than the Ranch one! I only noticed when I went to pour some in a plate to dredge my chicken! Rather than freak out, I turned this hiccup into an amazing and VERY tasty recipe!
Here is how to make Oven Baked Buffalo Chicken Strips:

- 1/3 cup hot sauce
Using a food processor, crush croutons-place them into a shallow dish
Place dressing into a shallow dish
Dip tenders into dressing, and then into the crushed croutons; repeat
Place chicken onto a baking sheet, and then top with parsley, cheese, and hot sauce
Bake for 1 hour at 350
