I cannot believe St Patrick’s Day is just 3 days away! The time flew by this year, but I am ok with it since it means Spring is right around the corner. This time of year, corned beef is a staple in many homes. I know we will be having our annual traditional corned beef, cabbage, potato, and carrot dinner.
This often leads to corned beef leftovers that can be hard to use creatively. Sure, there is corned beef hash, but this year I wanted to think outside of the bread and decided I will be yet again making these 10-Minute Leftover Corned Beef Baked Wontons with Zesty Horseradish.
Besides the corned beef leftovers that are sure to be in my fridge in just a couple of day, I was inspired to make these Corned Beef Baked Wontons thanks to my partnership with Reese Specialty Foods. They make Jared’s favorite Horseradish that he literally adds to everything from hot dogs to grilled cheese. In fact, he even grew his own horseradish last year, but it still did not compare to the fresh, and zesty flavor of Reese Specialty Foods Horseradish. Their prepared horseradish gives these 10-Minute Leftover Corned Beef Baked Wontons so much additional flavor. It is amazing how well Swiss, corned beef, and horseradish pair together. Add in some Reese Non-Pareil Capers and you have the perfect balance of flavor that the whole family is sure to love!
These Corned Beef Baked Wontons are super easy to make and require little kitchen skills. I am confident that all levels of cooks can easily assemble them and enjoy them. The best part is you can make these with as little as a half of a pound of leftover, shredded corned beef. If you do not have any leftover corned beef, you can also use deli slices.
Once these are done in the oven, the ooey, gooey Swiss Cheese, warm meat, and slightly salty capers are way too good! Add on the amount of horseradish you love for a delicious treat. I served mine with a little condiment cup and appetizer fork so my family could add the amount they preferred.
