Spark Creativity with Barbie this Holiday Season
When I was a little girl, one of my favorite toys to play with in my room were my Barbie Dolls. I could get lost in endless play dressing them up, posing them, and immersing them in everyday situations. My Barbie Dream House was always open to new Barbie friends. I really loved when my Mom bought me the Barbie Make Me Pretty Styling Head. I still remember adding so much pretend eyeshadow to my doll, and fluffing out her hair. That doll may have seen the scissors a little too much but I loved being creative with her hairstyles.
Now my two girls are having a blast with Barbie and becoming empowered by her. From the 16″ Barbie Bike, to Barbie Career dolls that come in different shapes, and sizes-my girls adore this brand.
They were recently very excited to have received the Barbie Deluxe Styling Head blonde doll and the 28-inch Barbie blonde doll which is half the size of my youngest daughter!
These Barbie toys both are available at Walmart stores and make an excellent gift for little girls who love to use their imagination and play with Barbie.
With the Barbie Deluxe Styling Head, kids can part her hair to either show blonde hair or pink hair. She comes with makeup accessories like an eye shadow brush, and press on nails. She also came with nail decals that both Barbie and your little girl can enjoy.
My daughter is at the age where she loves to style her own hair in braids.
She still has yet to master the french braid, but Barbie is helping her to practice.
Our middle daughter loves her giant, 28 inch Barbie doll and often has her alongside her while playing.
My girls get a kick out of her “posing” in their room and have put her in some life-like situations.
I love that she also has super soft, silky hair that can easily be styled.
My girls have been having such a blast with Barbie!
These are great ideas! I used to play with Barbies all the time. I acted out entire ongoing soap operas with them, in fact. LOL
I love that Barbie makeup and nail set. My daughter would adore this. She’s a big Barbie fan, and she’s always playing with them in her room.
I love the Barbies that you can style their hair. I had one of those when I was younger and my daughter has one too. SO much fun.
OMG she’s a doll!!!!! 🙂 She looks like she’s having a blast with her Barbie, too 🙂 I never did have Barbie growing up – it’s great to see them sticking around!
I am so depressed that my daughter is 16 and Barbies and other dolls are a thing of the past. Luckily I have my niece to dote on and get that Barbie styling doll for.
I wanted one of those styling heads SO badly when I was young … and I know my youngest daughter would love it now. Might have to pick one up for Christmas!
I got my first Barbie when I was 3 and loved her from then on. My daughter was always a huge fan too and still has her collection of the special collectible ones.
These Barbies rock. The styling head is definitely going to be a great gift this year. I love toys that allow kids to be creative.
My girls love Barbie and asked for this for Christmas! I remember having something similar when I was a kid!
I had a barbie growing up that I could put makeup on and do her hair, loved that. This would be great for my niece.
The Barbie Deluxe Styling Head is a great gift idea for my friends little girl. She loves to do different hairstyles and put nail polish on. I will have to add it to my shopping list.
I remember having a Barbie styling head when I was a girl. I could spend hours giving her different hairstyles.
What little girl doesn’t love Barbie? These will make great gifts.
My daughter always liked playing with Barbies. She would have loved that giant Barbie.
Definitely looks like a great present. I have only boys but maybe someday I will have a daughter
