Ingredients

  • 1 dozen eggs
  • 4 quarts water
  • 1 tsp food dye

Instructions

  • Add eggs and water to the stockpot.
  • Allow eggs to boil for 20 minutes.
  • Once eggs are done boiling, rinse them and gently roll them to crack them.
  • Put gently cracked eggs back into the stockpot.
  • Cover eggs with water and add food dye.
  • Mix eggs around with colored water and allow them to soak for at least 5 minutes.
