Tis' the season for easy sweet treats like these adorable Wreath Christmas Donuts desserts. This holiday hack features store-bought donuts designed with icing & festive add-ons to make quick and fun holiday party treats.

Equipment

  • Baking rack
  • Piping Bag
  • Small Star Tip

Ingredients

  • 12 donuts
  • 6 ounces green frosting
  • 2 tbsps holiday sprinkles
  • 3 tbsps Holiday Mix Sixlets
  • 2 tbsps Holiday Mix Pearls
  • 1 roll Fruit By The Foot you should have 2 on-hand just in case you need more

Instructions

Bows

  • Cut Fruit by the Foot into 4 inches strips. These will be for the bows and scarves.

  • Cut 4 inch strips in half the long way so you have two thin strips.
  • Unwrap one strip and bring the ends together to form the bow base.
  • Cut about 1/2 from the strip to make the bow knot.
  • Cut the remaining strip in two equal length parts for the bow bottoms.
  • Using your scissors, cut a small triangle out of the bowl bottom to make the edges.
  • Repeat until you have 6 bows.

Scarves

  • For the scarves, you also use the 4 inches strips.
    Gingerbread Cookie Scarf
  • Cut them in half the long way and fringe the edges with your scissors.
  • Place around the Gingerbread people; set aside.

Wreaths

  • Add the star tip, and green frosting to the pastry bag.

  • Pipe little short spurts of icing into a wreath pattern on all donuts.

  • Add bows to your wreaths.
  • Sprinkles donuts with Christmas sprinkles.
  • Add Pearls and Sixlets to your desired design.

  • Add gingerbread people and wreath bows.

  • Add a tiny bit of icing to the Pearls to adhere to the Gingerbread men.

Notes

You can use any type of donut you prefer. Cupcakes or cookies could also be used here with similar results. 
These donuts last one day for best taste.
You can omit the gingerbread men, but I thought they were cute additions.
