- 2 Granny Smith apples large size, washed, sliced 1/4" thick, and cored in the center.
- 8 oz Mixed Berry Yogurt
- 1 tbsp rainbow sprinkles
Wash, and dry you apples.
Carefully using a knife, slice apples to about 1/4" thickness; repeat until apples are sliced.
Using a star pipe hollow out sliced centers.
If not serving right away, soak apples in salt or citrus mixture to prevent browning. *see post for details.
If serving right away, evenly top each with yogurt.
Add sprinkles to each and serve.
My kids were eating these right away so I did not have to do this step. However, if you are planning on making these for a party be sure to soak them in Kosher Salt with water. For every cup of water you use, add half a tsp of this salt.
Be sure to rinse and pat dry before eating! Additionally, you can add your slices to one quart of cool water and 3 tablespoons of lemon juice. Pat dry before frosting lemons.
