(Lighter!) Jalapeno Popper Dip Recipe
A rich and creamy, spicy dip that is made with canned chilies. This jalapeno popper dip features non-fat Greek yogurt, and a blend of creamy, reduced fat cheeses. It is topped with garlic toasted panko for a scrumptious game day appetizer.

- 4.5 oz canned green chilies
- 8 oz reduced fat cream cheese
- 10.6 oz non-fat Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup low-fat shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup Parmesan shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1 jalapeno cut into circles, seeded
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium-sized bowl, add cream cheese, cheddar, Greek yogurt, spices (all but the 1/4 tsp garlic powder, and chilies.
Mix well, until combined.
Add mixture to a shallow baking dish.
Top mixture with Parmesan cheese; and set aside.
In a small frying pan, spray pan with non-stick and add panko crumbs with the reserved 1/4 tsp of garlic powder. Toast crumbs over medium heat until golden. Once golden, remove from heat.
Sprinkle bread crumbs over cheese mixture and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees f.
Remove from oven and enjoy warm with your favorite dipping medium.
