Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the Grape-Nuts cereal and warm water. Let stand for 10 minutes, or until the cereal is softened.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar, vanilla extract, eggs, and milk.
  • Add the softened Grape-Nuts cereal to the egg mixture and stir until well combined.
  • In a large bowl combine the sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Whisk in the milk, and melted butter and combine fully.
  • Pour the pudding mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • Dot the top of the pudding with the melted butter.
  • Place the baking sheet on a jellyroll pan and fill it with water to create a water bath.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the pudding is set in the center.
  • Let the pudding cool in the baking dish for 10 minutes before serving.
