Canned Cranberry Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces jellied cranberry sauce canned
  • 1 orange juice & zest
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions

  • Open cranberry sauce and add contents to a glass dish.
  • Zest one orange and squeeze out all the juice. Do not allow the seeds into the sauce.
  • Add juice and spices to sauce, and stir.
  • Mix thoroughly and place the contents into the fridge and allow flavors to meld for at least one hour.

Alternative preparation
Additionally, you can heat sauce up to a low simmer for 8 minutes.
Once done, allow to cool, and store in the fridge to chill until thoroughly cooled. For us, either way works.
For best taste, consume within 3 days.
