Oatmeal Bacon Breakfast Cookies
Sweet meets savory with these bacon-filled oatmeal cookies. These oatmeal cookies are chewy with a sweet and salty kick. The flavors pair so well together!

Ingredients

butter flavored shortening

firmly packed light brown sugar

whole milk

Bob's Red Mill All Purpose Flour

baking soda

teaspoon
salt

teaspoon
cinnamon

Bob's Red Mill Rolled Oats

chocolate chips

slices
crispy, crumbled bacon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375℉.
Line two medium baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a standmixer (or mixing bowl), cream shortening, sugar, egg, milk, and vanilla.
In another bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, and oats.
Slowly add dry mixture to wet mixture.
Once combined, fold in chocolate chips and bacon.
Add rounded tablespoons of dough to your cookies sheet evenly spaced apart 2" apart.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cookies have golden brown edges. They will firm as they cool.
Transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool. Enjoy!
