Hot Honey Chicken & Garlic Butter Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Minute Instant Brown Rice
  • 1 cup water * to prepare rice
  • 2 tablespoons salted butter
  • 4 whole cloves of garlic peeled & minced
  • 1 cup leftover chicken *warmed- we used breaded chicken.
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons hot honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Prepare Minute Instant Brown Rice according to the package instructions.
  • Place your skillet over medium heat on your stovetop. Add butter to the skillet and once it is melted and starts to sizzle slightly, add your 4 minced garlic cloves. Cook for about 30-60 seconds, stirring constantly, until the garlic becomes fragrant and slightly golden brown.
  • Reduce heat to low and add cooked Minute Instant Brown Rice and saute for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Plate rice evenly and then add warmed, leftover chicken to the top.
  • Swizzle with hot honey and then add Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.
  • Enjoy right away!
