Cheddar Biscuits from Scratch
An easy to make 15 minute cheddar biscuit recipe that can be made with biscuit mix.

- 2 cups Bisquick
- 2/3 cup whole milk
- 3/4 cup cheddar cheese *Use thicker, creamier shreds
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp dried basil
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Heat oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add biscuit mix, herbs, milk, and cheddar.
Mix biscuit mix thoroughly.
With wet hands, form dough into 10-12 balls. (dip hands in a bowl of water to prevent dough from sticking to your hands).
Place on a greased jelly roll baking sheet, or silicone mat lined sheet, and then brush them with melted butter.
Bake them for 8-10 minutes, and enjoy warm. Biscuit will feel firm and slightly springy when done.
