Are you looking for a meal that is fairly inexpensive and really easy to put together? This recipe uses a classic pantry staple, and chicken thighs to make. It is a no-fuss dinner idea that is a fun twist on a classic.
I know I have because this cool, and sometimes chilly fall weather has me heading straight to the kitchen to create delicious comfort meals that are easy to prepare. My family loves meals that are hearty and loaded with flavor so I am always sure to keep that in mind.
That is why this Easy Manwich Slow Cooker Pulled Chicken Recipe I made this past week was such a hit! Served over warm mashed potatoes with a dinner bun on the side; this was the perfect cold weather meal.
The best part about this slow cooker meal that features Manwich Original is that it is an easy, peasy recipe.
As a busy mom to three, once 3 pm strikes, my home turns into a whirlwind of excitement once my girls get home. We have homework, studying, and chores to get done. Slaving in the kitchen for hours just isn’t in my cards.
Thankfully, all I literally did to make this meal was place chicken thighs in my slow cooker, with one can of Manwich Original. I set my slow cooker, or as some call it “slow cooker” to 4 hours (low heat), and guess what? It produced a delicious and simple dinner.
Not only did my home smell heavenly during the 4 hours that my food was cooking, but it allowed me to get stuff done!
Once the 4 hours was up, I whipped up some fresh mashed potatoes, and then gently pulled up whatever chicken that wasn’t already natural shredded.
The meat was so incredibly tender that a gentle push of the fork was all it needed to fall apart. Plus, the Manwich “gravy” was perfect for pouring over the mashed potatoes! A dinner bun completed the meal so that we could sop up all that deliciousness!

This is an idea I thought of and googled and found you guys. My question is will It turn out just as good with chicken breast?
I feel like it will be a little bland since the chicken is less flavorful. You really need those flavors to absorb.
