Check out this recipe for Peppermint Chocolate Cinnamon Buns that is quick, and easy to make for your guests this season.
Ingredients:
- 1 package of crescent rolls
- 1 large candy cane crushed
- 1/3 cup of chocolate shavings
- 2 tablespoons of melted butter
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoons of cinnamon
Glaze:
- 1 tablespoons of milk
- 1 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 375
Grease a 9 x 9 glass pan
On a clean surface, unpack and roll out your crescent dough. Pinch the triangles together to make a rectangle.
In a small bowl, mix the butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar together and brush it on the rectangle of dough
Firmly wrap the dough long side up and gently slice it into 8 circle slices
Line the pan with the buns and bake for 16-17 minutes
Once done, sprinkle on peppermint while still hot
Mix your glaze ingredients and pour that over slightly cooled buns, and top with half the chocolate shavings. Garnish with additional shavings once cooled.
