The products we’re writing about are the ONEPWR™ Wet/Dry Cordless Utility Vacuum Kit and the Cordless Hard Surface Sweeper Kit. Since they are “kits”, they both came with a 20v battery included.
Before diving into the dirt, you might be wondering what this system is all about…
What is the HOOVER® ONEPWR™ System?
The Hoover® ONEPWR™ System is a collection of 12 different 20-volt cordless cleaning products from the brand Hoover that all share the same Lithium-Ion batteries. I love cordless systems like this because it’s easy to swap the battery from one tool to the other when needed. In addition to that, once you own one or two batteries, you can buy the tool-only (without the battery) and save more than a few bucks!

ONEPWR™ Wet/Dry Cordless Utility Vacuum Kit
Let me introduce you to my new favorite cleaning tool. The HOOVER® ONEPWR™ Wet/Dry Cordless Utility Vacuum Kit comes with a 20v battery, charger, and vacuum. Here’s what I like about it:
It has a large capacity 3-gallon tank. The motor attaches to the top of the tank with 2 large latches that are easy to lock/unlock.
The vacuum has a large comfortable handle that pivits up to carry it from place to place, and swings back to fit flush with the top of the machine when it’s not needed.
The tank is easy to empty because the whole top is easily detached. The tank can then be dumped into a trash bag or whatever simply by tipping it over.
The vacuum comes with a crevice tool and utility nozzle.
It has enough power (45 CFM) to suck up most messes you might find in a car, garage, basement, or inside your home. Plus, it sucks up wet and dry messes.
The hose is 6 feet long, so you don’t need the vacuum right by your side at all times.
What’s It Good For?
The ONEPWR™ Wet/Dry Cordless Utility Vacuum is perfect for cleaning the garage and car, which is what I’m primarily using it for. In addition to that, here are a few more ideas for its uses:
- Vacuuming sawdust in the workshop
- Vacuuming the car after your kids make a mess
- Vacuuming drywall or home construction debris
- Vacuuming small water spills
- Bringing it with you to a remote work-site for vacuuming
- Sucking up packing peanuts
- Vacuuming the stairs
ONEPWR Cordless Hard Surface Sweeper Kit
The HOOVER® ONEPWR™ Cordless Hard Surface Sweeper Kit includes a 20v lithium-ion battery, charger, hand-held sweeper motor, and 2 different nozzles – short and long. This tool is great for “sweeping” out the garage or clearing off the patio!
Just think of it as a quick substitute for a broom. Anything you would normally sweep with a broom, the ONEPWR Cordless Hard Surface Sweeper can do it faster – much faster!
Here’s what I like about it:
It’s lightweight (4.8 lbs.), so your arm doesn’t feel like it’s going to fall off after using it for a minute!
It has good power – up to 185 CFM and 85 MPH. Mind you, it’s plenty powerful enough to blow-off hard surfaces, but not powerful enough to blow leaves through grass for example. It’s specifically called a “hard surface sweeper”, so don’t bother trying it out on the lawn!
It’s cordless design makes it easy to just pick-up and go at a moments notice.
What’s It Good For?
The ONEPWR™ Cordless Hard Surface Sweeper is perfect for blowing lightweight debris out of the garage, which is what I use it for. However, here are some other tasks it would be good for:
- Blowing debris off the patio
- Blowing dirt and leaves off the porch
- Blowing dust or pollen off your car or motorcycle
- Blowing dried up grass clippings and leaves out of your shed
- Blowing dust off your tools
A Complete Cleaning System
There you have it, a rundown of the HOOVER® ONEPWR™ System. All 12 products could easily get your home dust and dirt free without the hassle of cords. The great thing about these products are that they all fit the same batteries.
I used to procrastinate about sweeping out the garage before I got these tools. Now, it’s just as simple as picking up either the ONEPWR™ Wet/Dry Cordless Utility Vacuum or the Cordless Hard Surface Sweeper and ridding the mess in seconds!

This is the first I’ve seen and heard of this brand for a vacuum. I need it in my life! I keep saying we need a good vacuum for me to clean out my Mama van (you know the van that every kid eats stuff in and gets crumbs all over?!) yeah. that one.
