How to Make the Best Pumpkin Protein Shake
For the past 4 months I have been in the routine of drinking one Orgain Sweet Vanilla Bean Protein shake each morning. It’s only been four months but the differences in my weight and overall feelings are tremendous! I vowed to myself that I would start to live healthier by making small changes, and so far things are looking up!
Since I had never, ever tried protein shakes before, I was very picky and did so much research into which brand would be right for me. I am not a fan of artificial sweeteners, and wanted a shake that was plant-based. After reading countless reviews I decided that Orgain was right for me.
A few reasons why I love Orgain Sweet Vanilla Bean Protein powder is because it is not only tasty, and easy to mix with other ingredients, but most importantly it is made with good-for-me ingredients. Invented by Dr. Andrew Abraham, during his quest for organic and, nutritious foods to consumer during his cancer treatments, Orgain was born. Orgain is made from organic plant-based foods like brown rice, chia, pea protein, and hemp.
When the opportunity to blog about Orgain came about I was excited because it is a product I love! I have consumed my morning protein shakes with fruits and veggies mixed it, as well as kefir, and even pumpkin. Yes, why not add some pumpkin-spice flair to my morning shake. This past week, I have been really enjoying the Best Pumpkin Protein Shake ever!
Looks great huh? I love that this pumpkin protein shake is easy and actually feels like a treat!
Here is what you will need to recreate this Best Pumpkin Protein Shake:
- 1 scoop of Orgain Vanilla Protein Powder or your fave brand
- 1 tablespoon of pumpkin puree
- 1 tablespoon of raw honey *add more if you want
- 1 teaspoon of ground, organic flax seed
- 1 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice
- 8 ounces of unsweetened almond milk
- About 8 ice cubes
To make this Pumpkin Protein Shake, simply add all the ingredients to a blender (I love my Blendtec) and blend it all up until smooth. This seemed to be a good concoction for me, but if you want more pumpkin flavor, add a little more puree. It is good for you, so why not?

I definitely do not get enough protein in my diet, so this sounds like an awesome way to get it in there.
