On the keto diet? Check out these fun ways to enjoy some keto-friendly deli meat and cheese. Thank you to McKenzie All Natural Artisan Deli for sponsoring this post. All views are my own.
Are you trying to eat cleaner this year? Maybe you are on the keto diet? I know our family is trying to eat healthier, but I am the only keto-er here! As a parent, it is my job to make sure my kiddos get the most nutritional bang for their buck.
While I totally still let my kids have occasional treats I have started checking labels more so lately. The past 3 months have really opened my eyes to the harmful junk some brands load into our food.
Would you believe that 2 weeks ago I found cartilage and actual chicken bones in a “cheaper” brand of deli meat? Before I totally swore off the deli completely, I did my research.
I also learned the hard way that paying less does not produce better results. I quickly came to realize that when it comes to deli meats and cheeses I rather pay more for a quality product.
That is why I now will be buying premium deli meats from brands like McKenzie Natural Artisan Deli which is now available at Shaw’s.
I love that my daughter also shares the same name as this company (she spells it differently though), and their vast assortment of foods.

Since Shaw’s is one of my FAVORITE grocery stores I am actually very happy to have the option of such a quality brand at my fingertips.
Yes, McKenzie Natural Artisan Deli is slightly higher cost wise, but the product quality is superb! I recently bought a pound each of their Turkey Breast, Black Angus Roast Beef, and Ham off the Bone. My kids love sandwiches so these 3 lbs of meat would go FAST!
Looking for keto snacks?
These low-carb deli meat lunches or snacks are so easy to prepare too which is a total win in my book.
I can even prep them the night before, put them in an airtight container and have lunch ready for my husband on the go. Sometimes even before the gym, we need a little protein fuel so a roll-up or two is ideal!
Let’s explore these 4 Delicious Keto Friendly Ways to Enjoy Deli Meat
Antipasto Salad– I love this method because I typically already have fresh produce like cucumbers, romaine, and tomato on hand. There are so many combinations you can come up with making this a fun meal idea that can easily be prepped ahead of time.
Meat & Cheese Roll Ups
Meat & Cheese Roll Ups- Ever since I worked in a deli 11 years ago, this will forever be my favorite ways to enjoy deli meat & cheese. It is so simple and easy to do! Simply take a slice of deli meat. Add one slice of cheese, and roll it up. These also make perfect additions to any deli meat & cheese tray! This is perfect for those on the Keto diet!
Keto Bunless Romaine Sandwiches
Simply grab two pre-washed romaine leaves, cut them midway and make two “buns”.
Add your deli meats and cheeses to the center and enjoy!
Keto Cucumber Roll Ups
These are so fun and easy! They remind me of sushi and make lunchtime fun.
Carefully slice a cucumber thinly (lengthwise) You want the flesh to be pliable. Add a small piece of rolled up deli meat to the center, along with some cheese. Enjoy!
As you can see there are several Delicious Keto Friendly ays to Enjoy Deli Meat. Each of these serving suggestions would be made extra perfect with McKenzie Natural Artisan Deli meats & cheeses. You can find these premium products at your local Shaw’s Supermarket.

Glad you’re selecting more healthier options. I went plant based last May after being diagnosed with PCOS and seeing how harmful a lof of the food we eat are to our bodies. I always encourage people to read the labels. My rule: If you can’t pronounce or identify it, you probably shouldn’t be eating it lol
Marie says
