How to Make the Best Potato Salad Ever with This Secret Ingredient!
Pretty much everyone has their favorite potato salad recipe that was handed down to them from a family member or friend. I know I have a handful of recipes that my mom would make that I frequently prepare for my family. Summer is really the perfect time to make potato salad because it requires very minimal cooking time, and preparation.
Ever hear of that wildly popular show called Shark Tank? We LOVE watching it in our home because we have worked with many of the small start up companies in the past. It is a great feeling to see people try to make their dreams possible. When we watched the episode that Slawsa was on, I knew that Julie has a product that seemed delicious, and very versatile.
Never did I think I would be able to taste test each flavor she made! Maybe because I love food so much I was extra excited at the opportunity to work with her? Regardless, when my shipment of Slawsa arrived, I was ready to be a taste tester!

Now onto the best part–the recipe! Here is how to make the best potato salad ever! My secret ingredient is Original Slawsa!! Yes, you heard that right, Slawsa! I paired it up with a few other add ins and WOW, oh Wow! If you like a slightly sweet and tangy gluten free potato salad, then this right here is for you!!
Best Ever Potato Salad Recipe:
- 3 lbs of peeled russet potatoes
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup Slawsa
- 1/2 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of fresh squeezed lemon juice
Peel and dice your potatoes, and boil them until they are fork tender.
In a large glass bowl, add your condiments, lemon juice, and Slawsa; mix and store in fridge covered
Once potatoes are done, drain them, rinse with cold water, and allow them to further cool.
When your potatoes are no longer steaming hot, add them to the mixture, and return them to the fridge for a couple of hours.
Serve the best ever gluten free potato salad with burgers, hot dogs, steak, or eat it straight form the bowl! I am telling you, this stuff is awesome!!
