Patriotic Appetizer Tray Dip Ideas for Summer Entertaining

Fourth of July might be tomorrow but that doesn’t mean you can’t sit back and enjoy the summer with some good company and snacks like Heluva Good!® Dip.

I have been a huge fan of this deliciousness in a tub for years.

My mother and I would buy a tub of the French Onion Dip every Friday to enjoy them at night with some ruffled chips.

Those were the days!

Now, my love for Heluva Good! Dips has only grown! I love to enjoy them any day of the week, but they make entertaining so easy! Since we are in the midst of buying and selling a home I don’t have time or motivation to be super creative with my recipes. Half my stuff is packed away and I am being pulled in many directions.

That is why for Fourth of July, I will be bringing the chips, veggies, and dip- easier enough right? Heluva Good! makes it so easy to be the BBQ rock star with their vast assortment of tasty dips. Featured in today’s Patriotic Dip Appetizer spread are:

• Bacon Horseradish
• Jalapeno Cheddar
• French Onion

These dips are not only perfect companions for chips, crackers, and veggies, but they are also amazing when used as spreads, or in recipes. I cannot wait to share some recipes that include Heluva Good! Dip as the months go on.

Since the Fourth of July is all about red, white, and blue I tried to feature chips that represented the colors to the best of my ability.

Cheese nachos are made even more amazing when dipped into any Heluva Good! Dip! If you haven’t tried this, you must!

Veggies are a crucial part of any dipping appetizer tray.

I even included rainbow bell pepper strips, and even cut out some red bell pepper stars using a star cookie cutter.

I don’t know about you, but I love pita chips. I went to a local Syrian bakery to pick up some pita bread yesterday to make herb pita chips. I love making these because in 15 mins time you can easily kick up your appetizer tray to a whole new level. All you need is some olive oil, a pizza cutter, herbs of your choice, and baking sheet to make some delicious, crispy chips.

Herb Pita Chips:

• 1 large pita or two medium cut into little pieces
• Olive Oil Spray
• Herbs & spices of your choice
• Baking sheet

Instructions: 

Heat oven to 375

Cut pita bread into small pieces

Spray with Olive oil or brush with melted butter

Sprinkle of spices & herbs

Bake for 8-10 minutes or until slightly golden brown and crisp.

My kids love herb pita chips and they make the best dipping medium for Heluva Good! Chips.

I added Bacon Horseradish dip to a star dish and topped with some halved cherry tomatoes.

I thought it looked cute and festive! Some Patriotic decor was placed around the table to get everyone in the mood.

The Jalapeno Cheddar Dip was outstanding!

It paired so well with the white corn chips we had!
