Peachy Peach Milkshake
A blended sweet and creamy Peachy Peach milkshake featuring in-season peaches.
Peaches are in season here in Massachusetts so I really wanted to share a tasty way you can prepare peaches. Of course they are mighty yummy all by themselves in a crumble, grilled, or even in ice cream form. However, today is all about the peachy peach milkshake. This peach milkshake is really simple and made from fresh ingredients like milk, vanilla ice cream, and ice cubes. The addition of some whipped cream, and a cherry on top makes it not only prettier, but also yummier.
I first heard of a peach milkshake at a local orchard our family visits. They sell the juiciest native peaches, blueberries, and apples and also have seasonal offerings. Locally, they are known for their peach milkshakes. Apparently, people drink from all over to just enjoy these peach milkshakes which I thought was so weird. I admit, I left there without trying the peach milkshake because the line was soo darn long.
That is when I was inspired to make my own peach milkshake right at home. Since there are so many native peaches right now, I figured now would be the time to enjoy one right at home.
This recipe makes two large peach milkshakes, and took me maybe 5 minutes to prepare? Cleanup was also easy with only a blender and knife to wash.
Jared really loved the shake and thought it was so good! I thought the combination of peaches and cream was perfect. Our milkshake was perfectly sweet too.
Of course, this could depend on how ripe your peaches are so be sure to only use semi-soft, ripened peaches.
What is your favorite way to enjoy peaches in the summer? Will you be trying this peach milkshake? If you have made it, please be sure to share your thoughts in the comments below!

Milkshakes are one of my favorite summer treats. In our household we often make them for breakfast and try to make them “healthy”. This looks like a great way to still have our milkshakes, but not feel like we are having junk for breakfast also.

Somebody said peaches should never be used in milk. I stopped making milkshake with peaches. Do you think it is healthy?
