Sweet & Savory RO*TEL Turkey Meatballs are perfect for your next party. They are easy to make. Follow our homemade meatball recipe, or use frozen meatballs to make these party meatballs.

May is one of my favorite months because the weather is warmer, and it is almost the unofficial start to summer. May also means that we will be celebrating anniversaries, birthdays, and lots of fun with friends and family. What better way to celebrate than with some tasty foods!
Today’s Fiesta Dinner Party Ideas features 3 recipes that are made delicious thanks to RO*TEL.
Are you familiar with the awesome taste of RO*TEL products? For years I have enjoyed using them in many dishes. RO*TEL features several different varieties of perfectly spiced tomatoes paired with green chilies. My favorite to use is the Original RO*TEL flavor because you can easily spice up any dishes conveniently.
For us, we enjoy RO*TEL on omelets, in burritos, with pasta-the possibilities are endless with this versatile and inexpensive product!
Today, the feature recipe of my Fiesta Dinner Party are these Sweet & Savory Meatballs that are mega easy to make and can be eaten alone, or in a bun.
They feature seedless strawberry jam or preserves and 1 can of RO*TEL Original. You can also make them in the slow cooker for ease. I love a little crisp on my meatballs so I bake them first before the slow cooker.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs of ground turkey
- 1/2 tsp of cumin, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper
- 1 egg
- 1 18 ounce jar of seedless strawberry jam
- 1 can of RO*TEL Original
Directions
In a bowl, combine turkey, egg, and spices.
Add your jam, and RO*TEL to your slow cooker on low setting.
Form meatballs into small 1 inch balls.
*Optional* Bake for 15 mins (If you prefer a crispier outer meatball)
Return meatballs to crock pot on low for 2-4 hrs.
Enjoy these Sweet & Savory Meatballs in a bun, or alone- these are sweet with a hint of spice kick. They remind me of sweet and sour sauce.
For our Fiesta Dinner Party I also served the Traditional Chips and Salsa, Loaded Nachos, and some Loaded Taco Cups.
As decor, I wanted a bright and sunny yellow and blue-green theme. I purchased some colorful plates, platters, and a chip holder to match. We also had some margarita cups, and regular cups for some fun beverages.
I used a blue table cloth to tie together the color theme.
For the table area, I created a blue and yellow crepe streamer backdrop with some yellow tissue paper flowers.
A small pinata ties together to Fiesta Fun and makes the cutest table top accessory.
I purchased my RO*TEL products and some of my party ware at Walmart. You can find RO*TEL in the pasta sauce & canned tomato sauce aisle at Walamart.

What are some fun ways your family enjoys RO*TEL products?
Amy, I have heard of spaghetti sauce + jam, but I’m so loving your idea of jam + RO*TEL! Just the perfect zing! Btw, what a lovely party set up – love how the pinata draws everything together – and I love those tissue flowers and backdrop with streamers – I need your help in planning my daughter’s grad dinner decor and menu! :)
