The warmer weather is coming and that means I will be temporarily retiring my crock pot and turning to easier to make meals. When the sun is out in full force I prefer to eat sandwiches and salads. Who wants to be stranded in a hot kitchen when they could be enjoying the sunshine. Meals like this Turkey Avocado BLT Served with Mint Iced Tea are ideal because they are quick and easy to whip up.
As some of you know I have two quirks to eating sandwiches. Sometimes they get in the way of me enjoying a meal.
I need mayonnaise on my sandwiches; specially Hellmann’s.
Chips are a must. I love, love, love my side of chips. A sandwich is not a sandwich without chips.
I have tried to cheap out in the past and buy knock of mayonnaise brands, but they just don’t cut it and taste funky. Hellmann’s really helps me to make more of meal time because there are so many ways you can use it. Hellmann’s makes some of the best grilled cheese and baked chicken breast. It also pairs so well with this Turkey Avocado BLT.
No sandwich meal is complete without am ice cold beverage. This Mint Iced Tea is simply Lipton Tea steeped, and chilled with some fresh mint leaves inside. You can also sweeten it up with some honey.
This mint iced tea is sooo refreshing and will be sure to refresh you during the spring and summer seasons.
When brands like Hellmann’s and Lipton go on sale at Shaw’s Supermarket, I find myself stocking up. I love my iced tea so I tend to stock up since I go through so much tea.

I love avocado on my BLT’s. This looks yummy. I only do BLT’s when my tomatoes grow. They are so good.

You can’t go wrong with a good sandwich and a cup of iced tea! I love a good cup of iced tea during the summer months.
I’m not a fan of bacon, but the rest of this sounds delicious! Especially the mint tea. I live for tea and mint is my favorite!
