You can freeze this for up to 3 months. I have made extra shells to freeze plenty of times in my lifetime. Cook at 350 for 45 minutes to reheat.
Pan-fry the meats and onion until fully cooked. The bacon should be on slightly crisp unless you really like it super crisp. If you want it super crisp, cook it desperately and add to the cheese mixture last.
