Slow Cooker Apple Spice Dump Cake

Prep Time: 5 Mins

– 15.25 ounces spice cake mix – 42 ounces canned apples – 12 ounces unsalted butter cut  into thin pats

Some people like to melt their butter for dump cakes but I find the pats are the best way to go for a crisp, fluffy crust.

Spread both cans of apple pie filling. you can also use fresh apple slices as well.
