Best Frozen Ravioli
Not all frozen ravioli is created equally. My personal favorite has been the Celentano brand for quite some time. This brand is made with authentic Italian pasta using a family recipe that’s frozen fresh, using simple and real ingredients, convenient, and ready in a few minutes. Since we are cheese lovers, we really enjoy Celentano Cheese Ravioli. It has a large, pillowy, and tender texture and is delicious when prepared as directed or incorporated into dishes like this ravioli stir-fry.

Key Peanut Sauce Ingredients
Peanut Butter – I used the creamy variety for the peanut sauce which will work best. I do not recommend the crunchy or natural varieties.
Soy Sauce – Soy sauce is a key ingredient in stir fry dishes. It adds a salty, umami flavor that helps to balance the other flavors in the dish. The saltiness of the soy sauce also helps to enhance the flavors of other ingredients in the stir fry, making them more robust and flavorful. I always use low-sodium versions in my stir-fry recipes.
Light Brown Sugar – Ground ginger adds a unique flavor to stir fry dishes. It has a slightly spicy and aromatic taste that can help to enhance the overall flavor of your dish. The pungency of ground ginger also helps to balance out some of the sweeter flavors that is present in the brown sugar.
Red Wine Vinegar – Red wine vinegar adds a subtle yet complex flavor to peanut sauce. Rich, acidic, and slightly tart, it helps to balance the sweetness of the other ingredients while adding an extra layer of depth and complexity. It also works to enhance the nutty flavor of peanuts. It is also believed to help preserve the sauce’s texture, preventing separation or curdling.
Cayenne Pepper – Cayenne pepper adds a spicy and flavorful kick to peanut sauce. It not only provides an extra dimension of flavor, but it also helps to enhance the overall taste, making the sauce even more delicious.
Vegetable Oil – Vegetable oil helps to create a smooth texture in peanut sauce while also adding flavor. It adds richness and can help balance out the saltiness of certain ingredients. The oil also helps to emulsify the sauce, meaning it binds all the ingredients together into an even consistency.
Sesame Oil – Sesame oil is a great addition to peanut sauce, as it adds an extra layer of flavor and complexity. It gives the dish a nutty flavor, and its smokiness helps deepen the flavors of the other ingredients. Sesame oil also adds richness and depth to the sauce, helping to blend all the components together for an irresistible combination. I used mine as a finishing oil as the last step to tying together my stir-fry flavors.
