Cheeseburger Beef Rice Bowl

Fluffy and fragrant Minute Instant Jasmine Rice is topped with tender beef, cheese, tomato, onion, lettuce, and is finished with a homemade special burger sauce.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Minute Instant Jasmine Rice
  • 2 cups water *for rice prep
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup red onion diced
  • 1 medium tomato diced
  • ½ cup shredded lettuce
  • ½ cup shredded cheese blend

Special Burger Sauce

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet relish
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • In a stockpot, bring two cups of water to a rolling boil.
  • Add in 2 cups of Minute Instant Jasmine Rice, stir, cover, and remove from heat.
  • Allow rice to sit for 5 minutes, or until water is fully absorbed; fluff rice with a fork.
  • In a skillet, brown seasoned ground beef.
  • Set out plates/bowls, and divide rice evenly. Top each bowl with an even amount of ground beef, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and onion.

Special Burger Sauce

  • In a small bowl, add mayonnaise, ketchup, relish, and ground black pepper. Mix to fully combine.
  • Drizzle the desired amount of special burger sauce over each rice bowl and enjoy warm!
