Garlic Lime Shrimp

Garlic Lime Shrimp is a quick shrimp recipe that can be either marinaded early in the day, or cooked up quickly for dinner. Serve with white or brown rice and a fresh lime wedge for a delicious warmer weather meal.

  • 2 lbs raw shrimp *any size, de-veined, and peeled
  • 2 tbsps. unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsps. lime juice
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1/4 tsp. sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. ginger freshly grated
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic mashed
  • 1 tsp cilantro
  • 1 whole lime quartered for serving. *optional


  • Peel, de-vein, rinse, and pat dry your shrimp
  • In a skillet, heat butter, and then add mashed garlic, and ginger to saute until slightly golden brown and fragrant.
  • In a bowl, add dry spices to shrimp and toss.
  • Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes or until shrimp is slightly seared a golden brown and liquid is mostly gone.
  • Serve shrimp with fresh cilantro and lime wedge over rice.
