Ingredients

  • 1.6 pounds Mrs. T's Classic Cheddar Mini Pierogis– family size *uses the entire bag
  • 1 pound kielbasa *Can use your favorite precooked smoked meat cut into small pieces.
  • 1 large onion sliced thin
  • 8 ounces cheddar cheese
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • cups chicken stock
  • 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Italian herbs

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the chicken stock, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream; whisk until smooth.
  • In the bottom of a slow cooker, add a third of the Mrs. T's Classic Cheddar Mini Pierogis.
  • Add a third of the meat, and onions, and cheddar; repeat alternating layers until all pierogis, meat, onions, and cheese are used.
  • Sprinkle salt, pepper, and garlic powder to the top of the casserole.
  • Pour over the creamy mixture over the top of the casserole; add butter pads on top.
  • Set slow cooker to low for 2-3 hours or until pierogis are tender.
  • Stir casserole and add Italian herbs seasoning before serving. Enjoy
