If you are looking for Farmhouse Style Buffalo Plaid Christmas décor inspo, or black and white Christmas tree ideas you have come to the right place. Today, we are sharing a complete, charming holiday look that is fully available in-stores at Walmart. This post was sponsored by Walmart.
Welcome to the Walmart 12 Days of Christmas featuring beautiful holiday finds you can score at your local Walmart both in-store, and online. I am representing Day 2 which happens to be A Very Farmhouse Christmas.
I don’t know about you, but I am so ready to cozy up to the fire with some Lifetime Christmas Movies, hot cocoa, and some nicely decorated trees–yes, I said trees, haha! There is nothing quite like a cozy Christmas home. That is exactly what I was trying to achieve with this overall holiday look.
As many of you know, I love to decorate and took it up as my trade in school. I have always loved the primitive/country look, but have since migrated to the lighter, brighter farmhouse look with my style.
Despite having a newer house, my property abuts a real life farm so my style is pretty fitting to my location. In fact, there are 3 farms in walking distance to my home which I love.
A Shiplapped Wall Makeover
We recently shiplapped our den to cover up the reclaimed river planks we had. Overall, I did enjoy the ambiance the prior look provided, but I wanted something lighter, and brighter to fit my style-something to make my Farmhouse Christmas decorations POP.
So, this past weekend, Jared re-planked the walls, and built us the featured rustic buffet table that I painted with chalk paint. I wanted a piece of furniture that could hold more décor since I previously had very little shelf space. This worked out really well and cost us all but $55 to make. The shiplap was about $250 for the featured wall.
Walmart has the BEST Farmhouse Christmas Décor
When you think of quality, well-made farmhouse décor, Walmart is probably not the first place you would think of. Trust me, I get it! I would have never pegged Walmart as the best place for Farmhouse Christmas décor, but this year they are bringing it…rocking it even!
In fact, this year’s selection of Farmhouse ornaments, tabletop décor, trees, florals, wall hangings, and wreaths are almost all under $25!!!
All of the ornaments/clips featured were just $1.48, $1.98, or .98 for high-quality, well made pieces that really complemented my tree!
Best Tabletop Tree
If you are not into large trees and have a smaller space, tabletop trees are the way to go. I have many mini trees, and my ultimate favorite is the Holiday Time Pre-Lit Cooper Flocked Artificial tree.
This mini tabletop tree is the best for several reasons. It is well made, and features poseable, charming, flocked branched that are pre-lit. You get the nostalgic, cozy vibes from this small tree which you can still easily decorate too (as pictured.)
The best part is the price is just $15.98. In fact, I decorated mine for under $20 total which included the tree price—perfect for budgets!
Best Flocked Tree
I’ll admit, I have had several flocked trees that I have donated because I just didn’t love them. However, the Holiday Time Pre-Lit Flocked Frisco Pine Tree, 6.5 ft. with clear lights is ahhmazing! This tree was so easy to put together and it is not bare or junky! Each branch has ample flocking and the limbs are nicely poseable.
I decorated this tree with these Shatterproof Ornaments. I really love how they filled in the tree nicely. I paired them with some clip style ornaments which include Burlap Poinsettias, Buffalo Check Poinsettias, Curly Clips, wooden beads in black and white, and mini buffalo plaid gift boxes. *These items should be now available in-store, but are not yet available for online ordering.
Farmhouse Christmas Wall art
The star of our overall look are these Holiday Time Mixed Greenery Wreaths that each have black & white premade bows on them. They are accompanied by the Holiday Time Farmhouse style Joy to World wall art.
I love the black and white look of the wall art which has some natural foliage on it for that charming look.
Giant Santa
No Christmas theme is complete without Santa Clause himself. We are loving the price point of under $25 for this 4 foot Holiday Time Santa! Even his bag of gifts features lovely buffalo plaid check wrapped gifts.
Holiday Florals
On my buffet table I have these slim Holiday Time Glitter Cedar Tree with Black and White Plaid Base Christmas Decoration, 24″. They are only $12.98 each and featured a buffalo plaid, fabric-wrapped base.
We also got these potted faux shrubs from Walmart that look like they are potted in a rustic paper bag.
The holiday lanterns also add a pretty touch as well as the outdoor bell chimes.
We will be adding the links to the featured products as they come available online. You can find them in-store in the holiday section. Mine is near our garden section.
Overall, I hope you all are inspired to create the look for your homes this holiday season. Enjoy, guys!
