Beautiful DIY Christmas Wreath Made of Tissue Paper & Candy!
This wreath is made from tissue paper and features R. M. Palmer Chocolate Caramel foil balls. Thank you Palmers for sponsoring today’s Christmas Wreath DIY!
I know I cannot be the only person out there that is listening to Christmas music as I type? Anyone else have their Christmas trees, wreaths, and decor out yet besides retailers? For me, decorating for Christmas early in the season really does make me a happier person. I just love all things Christmas including making DIY Christmas crafts that are inexpensive like this Beautiful DIY Christmas Wreath Made of Tissue Paper & Candy.
This season I am partnering with my kid’s favorite chocolate company–R.M. Palmer! My kids just LOVE their chocolates because they have the cutest packaging and of course they taste amazing! You can find this brand at large retailers like Dollar Tree, Walmart, Target and more!
R.M. Palmer has been a staple in my life too since I was a child. It all started with the chocolate bunnies, and coins, and the rest is history! They have been in business since 1948 making quality crafted chocolate products that make excellent Christmas gifts! This week, I will be sharing some excellent inexpensive Christmas gift ideas you can put together with Palmer Chocolate.
Today’s featured cheap Christmas DIY project is perfect for older children 12+ who can safely use a glue gun with adult supervision. This wreath made of tissue paper cost just $3 to make and you can even find all the supplies at a store like Dollar Tree.
Excited to get started on making this Beautiful DIY Christmas Wreath Made of Tissue Paper & Candy?
Here are the supplies you will need to make this fun & easy Christmas wreath:
This wreath took about 1 hour to complete.*
- 1 Hoop wreath form- I found mine at my local dollar store
- 1 package of red & green combo tissue paper (available at dollar stores)
- 8 glue sticks-I had these on-hand in my craft bin but they are also a dollar store item
- R. M. Palmer gold foil Caramel Balls
- Scissors
- Glue Gun
Directions:
Clear off a safe work area.
Heat your glue gun and prop is up safely.
Cut your green tissue paper into 6-inch squares
To form flower shapes, bring each piece up towards the center and form into a flower.
Twist the bottom to make a hook shape where you will add the glue to adhere it to the form.
Repeat about 100 times.
Once your wreath form is full of green flowers, you are going to want to make the red poinsettias.
Cut your red tissue paper into 7-inch squares.
Layer 3 at a time to create a fuller looking flower shape (similar to the green).
Glue to your wreath. I made 5 altogether.
Now, onto the fun part–adhering the Palmer gold foil Caramel Balls.
Use a healthy amount of glue to firmly insert them into the center of each red flower.
Add a few to the green to look like “ornaments”.
Overall, this wreath was so fun to create. My oldest daughter wants to make another.
This Beautiful DIY Christmas Wreath Made of Tissue Paper & Candy would make a fun teacher gift that is super thoughtful because it is relatively inexpensive to make.

That wreath is so nice and looks so festive. I hope I don’t eat those great chocolates before I decorate the wreath when i make this.
