This beautiful 7″ Prelit Frosty Flocked Artificial Christmas with Clear Lights by Treetopia, features a Farmhouse Buffalo Plaid theme with vibrant pops of red thanks to the festive Rae Dunn ornament accents.
Thank you, Treetopia for sponsoring today’s Design Council 2019 post.
Would you believe me if I said I have 3 Christmas trees this year fully decorated in my home? For exactly one week, I have been enjoying my 3 very different trees which are displayed proudly in each of my downstairs spaces.
But, my very favorite new addition this year is the 7″ Prelit Frosty Flocked Artificial Christmas with Clear Lights by Treetopia.
I still have love for my first tree that has been in my family for over 20 years so I have to shout out to this beauty too.
We are proud to announce that we are part of the 2019 Treetopia Design Council along with some other talented bloggers like my bestie, Dawn over at Cutefetti. Her super pretty tree will be showcased next week on her site! It is pinktastic if I must say so myself!
The BEST 7″ Flocked Tree
The featured 7″ Prelit Frosty Flocked Artificial Christmas with Clear Lights by Treetopia was easy to put together. I must admit, it was quite the mess so have a vacuum on-hand to clean up the faux snow fibers. However, any flocked tree would do the same so this is not unique to this brand.
I love that the tree features clear lights that have an old fashioned, warm light vibe. They are not those bright, “bug light” kind of white lights and give the tree a pretty, soft glow.
Assembly was quick and easy and the tree was actually very full which is always appreciated. I fluffed out the branched and let it settle for a few days before I decorated it.
Treetopia is literally an on line haven for all things Christmas or even Halloween trees! They have a huge assortment of colorful Christmas trees, green Christmas trees, and even wreaths and garland! There is something for every style and price point.
Cheap Buffalo Plaid Tree Skirt
Since I had a very hard time finding a buffalo plaid tree skirt I liked, I decided to use a hack my mother taught me back then. I purchased a round buffalo plaid tablecloth and draped it around the bottom of my tree. It was not only functional but really tied the look together nicely.
Buffalo Plaid Ornaments
I wanted the tree to have an element that “popped” so I used a combination of Buffalo Plaid ornaments, a large bow, and paired them with red, and rustic white accents. This bow is similar to the one I used and really pretty. I also used buffalo plaid curly fabric ribbon.
Rae Dunn Christmas Ornaments
You all know how much I adore Rae Dunn. Her ornaments can cost a pretty penny, but are well-worth the hunt and cost. I had several ball sets from last year and added the large red collection to my tree this year.
I also really have a thing for cute gnomes and bought a few specialty gnome ornaments to accent the tree–they are just too cute!
Christmas Themed Tiered Tray
Decorating tiered trays is so much fun! I added some past styles of Rae Dunn mugs and plates to this one. I accented with some adorable gnomes which I purchased this year.
Garland & Wreath
Did you know Treetopia also carries the largest assortment of Christmas Wreaths and Garland? We were able to receive a 24″ Prelit Addison Spruce Artificial Christmas Wreath with Clear LED Lights by Treetopia and 10′ Prelit Harvest Pine Artificial Christmas Garland with Clear Lights by Treetopia.
I decided to hang the Addison Spruce Artificial Christmas Wreath on my basement door which is also in the dining room. I added mini buffalo plaid bows to it and kept the look simple. I love how quality this wreath is. It looks good lit, or unlit–you decide!
As for the Harvest Pine Artificial Christmas Garland, I did not add any decor to this because it is already decorated with faux berries and pine cones. I love the life-like look, and the fact that it is weighted nicely. It looks perfect draped over my farmhouse hutch.
