English muffins are not just a breakfast food anymore! They can be topped with savory additions like sauteed spinach, Gorgonzola cheese, or maybe even fresh hummus. I recently made a batch of garlic hummus and enjoyed it on a toasted BAYS English Muffin. It was super tasty and complemented the English muffins perfectly.
My kids, on the other hand, are not as adventurous with their BAYS English Muffin toppings as I am. They prefer mini pizzas with cheese, and tomato, or peppers. These Tomato & Pepper Pizzas from BAYS English Muffins are exactly the kind of dinner they could live on for months! You can find lots of tasty recipes like this English Muffin Garlic Bread on BAYS that will inspire you to think outside of breakfast when it comes to English Muffins.

As you can see above, we created a yummy Fresh Garlic Hummus Recipe for our BAYS English Muffins.
Here is how I made this easy hummus recipe:
- 1 large can of chickpeas drained- reserve liquid
- 2 large cloves of garlic
- 1/2 tsp of crushed red pepper
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp of lemon juice
- 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
- fresh parsley to taste
Add chickpeas, garlic cloves, and 3/4 of your oil to your food processor. Also, mix in the salt, lemon juice, and half the red pepper. Blend until smooth. If the mixture is too thick add in a little of the extra chickpeas juices. I ended up using about 2 tablespoons of mine.
Once blended, add to a serving dish and swirl the mixture. Top with left over oil, remaining crushed red pepper, and fresh parsley. Enjoy with pita, veggies stick, or on a BAYS toasted English Muffin.
