Ingredients for Lighter Jalapeno Popper Dip
- 4.5 oz canned green chilies
- 8 oz reduced fat cream cheese
- 10.6 oz non-fat Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup low-fat shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 tsp onion powder

Can I use sour cream instead of Greek Yogurt?
If you are making traditional Jalapeno Popper Dip, you can use all the full-fat versions of the above. The non-fat Greek Yogurt takes the place of the sour cream in this recipe.
Can I use fresh jalapeno peppers in popper dip?
You can substitute fresh jalapenos for green chilies. You will need to use 2 jalapenos. If you like super duper spicy dip, leave some seeds on the peppers.
I recommend adding them to a small frying pan with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Cook them for 3-5 minutes or until tender.
Can I add bacon to this dip?
If you would like to add bacon, you can—and boy, is it delicious! Simply cook 3 strips of bacon until crispy. Crunch them up and mix them into the dip before baking. You can also reserve a little for the topping.
What to serve with jalapeno popper dip?
This jalapeno dip serves 6-8 people and goes perfectly with potato chips like Kettle or Cape Cod brands, veggie sticks, or corn chips like Tostitos Scoops. You can also enjoy it as it or use it to stuff jalapeno peppers.
