1 in 7 people in the US struggle with hunger. -Feeding America
Did you know that right here in America, there are children that go to bed hungry? I have seen kids in our local school system that literally only enjoyed warm meals while at school. It really broke my heart to see kids that were going without proper nutrtion when we lived in one of the richest countries in the world. Thankfully, there is an organization that is fighting to feed people across the country. That program depends on help from people like you and I and is called Feeding America.
Feeding America is a U.S. Hunger Relief organization that relies on support from partners, and consumers like you and I. They work with local food banks to make sure people who need food get it. This nationwide network of food banks provides 4 billion meals to virtually every community in the US via food pantries and programs.
So, what can you and I do to help feed the hungry? The answer is actually much more simple than you think! You can advocate, take the pledge against hunger, volunteer, or donate. Most conveniently, you can also make special purchases throughout the year at stores like Stop & Shop which give back to the Feeding America Organization.
PLUS, what is even more exciting is for EVERY share of the video below, Unilever will make an additional donation!! Make sure you TAG #BuySaveFeed so it qualifies!! Get the video link to spread the word ========> HERE
