Baked Vanilla Mummy Doughnuts
Halloween is next month and I have been trying to plan costume ideas, and treats for a small kid’s party. This morning I noticed my kids were low on sweet snacks so I figured I would make them a quick batch of baked vanilla doughnuts. Since Halloween is right around the corner, I got a little creative and turned ordinary frosted vanilla donuts into mummy doughnuts.
This quick Halloween sweet treat could not get anymore easier-I promise! I have a doughnut maker that can easily make 9 doughnuts in 5 minutes. I made 18 donuts in like 15 minutes, and then after they cooled I simply drizzled on white “mummy” frosting with a “petal” style pastry bag tip, and then placed two candy eyes on each doughnut to make them a little more creepier.
I love making cute little Halloween baked treats like these vanilla mummy doughnuts because my kids get super excited! I always try to make them seasonal treats and prefer baking my own verses store bought. At least I know what is going into their snacks and desserts.
