Are you looking for a fun and unique Patriotic décor idea? How about pulling your Christmas tree out of storage to decorate it for the summer season? Today, I am sharing how I designed my Farmhouse-inspired Patriotic Christmas Tree.
Ready to celebrate your red, white, and blue pride? If you’re proud to be an American, it’s time to show your Patriotism with this easy-to-replicate Red, White, and Blue Americana Tree! This tree is perfect for anyone who has military loved ones or is a patriot at heart.
If you love to decorate your home for the seasons, you’re not alone–so do I! After the rainy, cool spring season, I look forward to taking out the lemon, and patriotic-themed decorations to spruce up my home. In the past, I’ve created Valentine’s Trees, Easter Trees, Christmas Trees, and even a Harvest-themed tree. They’ve all been so much fun, but I’ve always known in my heart that I needed a Patriotic Tree. So, I headed to my favorite stores to scout out the perfect ornaments and accents to fill in my artificial tree.
Pops of red, white, and blue really stand out on our flocked tree that is filled with ribbon and ornaments that celebrate our country which was founded under God–God Bless America!
My Favorite Artificial Tree
This is one of my favorite artificial trees that I own (I have 7 now)! It was purchased at Target in 2019 at the end of the Christmas season.
I love the authentic green color of the pine needles and the subtle, realistic texture of the branches. It has also made a great Valentine’s Day Tree, Harvest Tree, and Christmas Tree.
Designing the Tree
I really loved some of the Patriotic felted garlands I found at Hobby Lobby and Home Goods, however, the prices were too high! Since I decorated this early in the season, nothing was on sale and I would have needed close to $100 worth of garland alone. Paired with needing all new decorations, that would have made this a $300 tree!
Thankfully, I found a super cheap solution at Dollar Tree that worked even better than I had imagined. My tree has some bare spots in the center so I always like a garland or ribbon to deflect the attention away from those areas. I was able to pick up 4 spools of star-themed burlap ribbon at the dollar store for $4! That was a much more budget-friendly price tag for this girl! $4 versus $100 is definitely the way to go–plus, the colors were more on-point when compared to my overall theme.
Patriotic Ornaments
All the ornaments featured on this tree came from Hobby Lobby. At the time of decorating this tree, they were really the only mainstream store that I could shop in person at to match colors and ideas.
I really think they have the best display of Patriotic ornaments around! There are options for all styles imaginable! I am more of a traditional kind of decorator so I prefer the rustic options, but they also have sparkly and more colorful stuff as well.
You can also find some nice 4th of July Ornaments on Amazon as well (affiliate link)!
The bow I used to top this 4th of July Tree came from Christmas Tree Shops. It was literally the perfect topper because it matched the coloring on the ribbon and ornaments so perfectly. I believe it was around $10 for this, but it is large and well-made.
